That's amazing

One of the best museums in the Netherlands, the Rijksmuseum, has made 125.000 of its items available on the internet. Look at Rijksstudio and you'll be amazed.

The pictures are in high resolution and you can make collections of (details of) the works, share these on Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter, and you can download images for your own use. Here's some inspiration for what you can do.

The first collections of images depicting people knitting have already been made. When you search for 'breien' you will find paintings, etchings and photos like the one below.

'Discover the possibilities of 125,000 masterpieces' it says on the Rijksstudio website. It's fun to look at other people's collections but it's also very easy to start your own studio. Enjoy and share your collection in a comment below if you like.
